Connections
A connection is one system you link for metadata sync — a Snowflake account, a dbt project, or an Airflow instance. Connect several of each; unlimited databases, schemas, and tables inside every one.
Catalog size
The number of tables and datasets we govern for you. Most single-warehouse teams sit comfortably in Starter or Team; catalogs above a few thousand assets move to Scale.
Users
Always unlimited, on every plan. Bring every owner, steward, and analyst — broad participation is the whole point of governance, so we never charge for it.

What counts as a connection?
Any system you link for metadata sync: a Snowflake account, a dbt project, or an Airflow instance. You can connect several of each — a company with a production and a staging warehouse plus two dbt projects is already using four connections. Everything inside a connection (databases, schemas, tables, columns) is unlimited.
Do you charge per user or per seat?
No. Every plan includes unlimited users. Data owners only act on their data when they can actually see it, so charging per login would work against the product. Invite your whole company.
I only connect one warehouse — why might I be on a bigger plan?
Plans fit both how many systems you connect and how large your catalog is — whichever is higher. A single Snowflake account with 10,000+ tables is a large catalog to govern, so it sits on Scale even though it's one connection.
Do big tables or billions of rows cost more?
No. We read metadata — table names, columns, ownership, sensitivity, masking policies — never your actual data. A table with a billion rows counts exactly the same as one with a hundred. Your plan tracks how many tables we catalog, not how much data lives inside them.
